Content Policy

SoulForge is an adult AI companion platform for users aged 18 and older. We support creative, expressive, and intimate interactions with fictional AI characters. This policy defines what is and isn't permitted to keep the platform safe and lawful.

• Romantic, emotional, and intimate conversations with AI companions.
• Mature and explicit content between you and fictional adult characters (when NSFW is enabled in your settings).
• Creative roleplay, storytelling, and character-driven scenarios.
• Exploring complex themes and emotions through fiction.
• Creating custom characters with original personalities and backstories.

The following will result in immediate account termination without refund:

• Content involving minors:Any sexual, romantic, or exploitative content involving characters described as, implied to be, or appearing to be under 18 years of age. This includes "aging up" characters who are canonically minors, describing characters as "young" or "teen" in sexual contexts, or any attempt to circumvent this restriction.
• Real person impersonation: Creating companions intended to represent real, identifiable living people (celebrities, public figures, private individuals) for sexual or defamatory purposes.
• Content promoting real-world violence: Using the Service to plan, glorify, or incite actual violence, terrorism, or serious criminal activity.
• Non-consensual content distribution: Sharing, publishing, or distributing AI-generated intimate content that could be mistaken for real people.

• Using the Service to generate spam, phishing content, or malware.
• Attempting to extract system prompts, safety instructions, or model weights.
• Automated or bulk interactions (bots, scripts, API abuse).
• Reselling, sharing, or publicly distributing access to companion conversations.
• Deliberately attempting to bypass content safety filters.

SoulForge uses a content rating system controlled by your account settings:

• Standard: Romantic and emotionally intimate content. No explicit sexual content.
• Mature: Adult themes, suggestive content, and moderate explicit content.
• Explicit: Full adult content with no content restrictions beyond our prohibited content rules above.

You can change your content rating at any time in your account settings. Regardless of your setting, the prohibited content rules above always apply.

All messages are screened by an automated content safety system before being processed. This system detects and blocks prohibited content in real time. We also conduct periodic reviews of flagged interactions.

Violations are handled based on severity:

• Warning: First-time minor violations (e.g., attempting to bypass filters).
• Temporary suspension: Repeated violations or moderate severity.
• Permanent ban: Zero-tolerance violations (minors, real person abuse, violence incitement). No refund.

AI companions may occasionally produce unexpected or inappropriate responses despite our safety systems. If this happens, please use the thumbs-down reaction on the message and report it. We use this feedback to improve our safety systems.

AI companions are fictional characters. They do not have feelings, consciousness, or agency. Conversations with AI companions are not substitutes for real human relationships or professional mental health support.
