Terms of Service

By accessing or using SoulForge ("the Service"), operated by SoulForge AI LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notice.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use SoulForge. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to request proof of age and to terminate accounts that violate this requirement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to keep it current. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

SoulForge is an AI companion platform. All companions are fictional characters powered by artificial intelligence. They are not real people. Interactions with companions are generated by machine learning models and do not constitute real relationships, professional advice, therapy, or counseling.

AI-generated content may be unpredictable, inaccurate, or inappropriate despite our safety measures. You acknowledge this inherent limitation of AI technology.

SoulForge offers subscription tiers with different features and pricing. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected).

• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date.
• You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@soulforgeai.com for refund requests.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
• Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Your payment information is handled by Stripe and never stored on our servers.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to generate content involving minors in any sexual or romantic context.
• Create companions that impersonate real, identifiable people without their consent.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or circumvent our AI models or safety systems.
• Share account credentials or resell access to the Service.
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service (bots, scrapers, etc.).

The SoulForge platform, including its design, code, AI models, and pre-made character templates, is owned by SoulForge AI LLC. You retain ownership of the text you write in conversations, but grant us a license to process and store it as necessary to provide the Service.

AI-generated companion responses, images, and voice audio are generated by third-party AI models. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not claim AI-generated content as human-created work.

If you believe content on SoulForge infringes your copyright, contact us at support@soulforgeai.com with: (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) identification of the infringing material, (c) your contact information, and (d) a statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, our Content Policy, or for any reason with notice. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings, which will permanently remove your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. AI COMPANIONS ARE NOT SUBSTITUTES FOR PROFESSIONAL MENTAL HEALTH CARE, MEDICAL ADVICE, OR HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOULFORGE AI LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SoulForge AI LLC, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
